How to: Hack an ATM

Thought this would be an interesting thing to blog :P

1.) Press “Clear”, “Enter”, and “Cancel” all together at the same time for two seconds, then press 1,2,3 in sequence.

2.)Now it asks for a password, Try 555555, 222222, or 111111. These are the default factory passwords. If they dont work then theyve changed it and you’ll have to find another machine.

3.)If it works, press the “customer setup” option, followed by the “change messages” option, now decide if you want to hack the welcome screen or the reciept header.

4.)Now hit the “alpha” button on the left, That changes the characters from symbols to letters. Make sure you have a good messafe ready before you try this because you wont have to time make one up on the spot.

The numbers below on the keypad (where you type your PIN Number) are what you use to scroll through the letters, “Right” makes a space, and “Enter” inputs the highlighted letter into the message.

KEEP CASUAL. HAVE YOUR WALLET IN YOUR HAND AND PRETEND YOUR ON YOUR MOBILE.

5.)Now that your finished, hit the “Cancel” button a few times to exit the application. Print yourself a balance inquiry to see if it worked.

Have fun, but be careful!
